Marshfield Fair 2020 Canceled

The Marshfield Fair is the next south shore event to fall to the COVID-19 pandemic. The fair scheduled for August 21st – 30th has been cancelled by the board that governs it.
The directors of the Marshfield Fair posted on the Fair's website, “The health and safety of our fairgoers, our volunteers, our staff, and our community is of utmost importance to us. Due to the current health pandemic, the directors of the Marshfield Fair have voted to cancel the 2020 fair.”
The annual fair, sponsored by the Marshfield Agricultural and Horticultural Society, is more than 150 years old and entertains and educates attendees of all ages the importance of agriculture and horticulture in our present day society. It is is one of the premier summer events of the South Shore.
