Lauren Burm's children have missed going to the Hingham Public Library in person, so she registered them for one of the library's virtual activities“We are so lucky to have such a fantastic local resource like the Hingham Library," said Burm, a Hingham mom-of-two. "They have come up with some really fun and creative activities, like the scavenger hunt held this week. This is a great example of how you can still have fun and be connected to a local resource remotely.”

From scavenger hunts to story time, baking to family Bingo, the Hingham Public Library is offering a wide variety of virtual programming. Take a coffee break online with library staff. Learn how to use Zoom through Zoom. Participate in a STEAM playgroup for toddlers or a STEM workshop series for older kids. The list of options is as wide as the imagination.

All virtual programs require registering in advance online. A Zoom meeting link is then emailed to participants shortly before the meeting begins. To learn more, please visit the library's calendar by clicking here.
